L.I.A. Soundtech Car & Home Solutions Ltd warrants new mobile phones as being free of defects in material, design and workmanship at the time of their original purchase and for the subsequent time of two (2) years. For used mobile phones, this period is limited to one (1) year.

What we will do:

If during the warranty period the product proves to be defective under normal use and service due to defective material, design or workmanship, the company will:

  1. Repair for free the faulty product or
  2. Replace the faulty product or
  3. Reduce the price of the faulty product or
  4. Cancel the purchase of the faulty product

The free repair of the product will be done within a reasonable time based on the following conditions and exclusions:

  1. The product with the original invoice or receipt must be presented during the warranty period. If the product becomes defective during the warranty period but the claim is done after the warranty period, then the warranty will not be granted.
  2. The Serial No. of the product has not been modified and is legible. The warranty seal of the product has not been tampered with.
  3. Repairs, adjustments, changes, adaptations or simply opening of the unit made by a non-authorised person constitute the warranty void.
  4. Damage to the product resulting from abuse, misuse or failure to use the product for its normal purpose or according to the manufacturer’s instructions on use and maintenance of the product are not covered by the warranty (e.g. product falling down, being hit or squeezed, placed in high temperatures in cars during summer).
  5. The warranty is void if there is any amount of liquid in the product (e.g. water, sweat, moisture).
  6. The warranty covers only the first purchaser and is not transferable.
  7. The transportation of the product to the company and back to the purchaser is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
  8. Repair under the terms of this warranty may be fulfilled with functionally equivalent reconditioned parts. Replaced faulty parts or components will become the property of the company.
  9. Repair under the terms of this warranty does not give right to extension to or a new beginning of the period of warranty.
  10. Use of non-original accessories or spare parts constitute the warranty void unless approved by the company.
  11. Installing non-original software on the product by a non-authorised person constitute the warranty void. Problems caused due to customer upgrading the phone through internet are not covered by the warranty.
  12. The company shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any express or implied warranty of the product.
  13. It is the technical manager of the company who decides whether the warranty should be granted and not the purchaser.
  14. If during the first 6 months of the purchase and delivery of the product, the product becomes faulty, the customer will not have to prove that the product is faulty.

The warranty does not cover the following:

  1. Periodic checks, maintenance, repair and replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
  2. Displays (LCD’s & Touches) and flex cables.
  3. Consumables & accessories.
